The European Union’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) has issued a new alert regarding a contaminated batch of squid exported to Spain from Morocco.
According to the RASFF, a break in the cold chain was detected in a batch of squid from Morocco during a check at the border with Spain. A situation that could promote the proliferation of bacteria such as salmonella and make these crustaceans unfit for consumption.
