New shooting in Brussels. On Thursday around 10 p.m., a shooting in the bistro Chez Ova, rue de l’Église Sainte-Anne, very close to the town hall of Koekelberg, left one person dead, reports Bruzz. Information confirmed by the Brussels-West police zone. Local residents heard several gunshots and alerted the police. When they arrived, the emergency services tried to resuscitate the victim on the spot. Without success. Soufiane, a thirty-year-old of Moroccan origin and a regular in the area according to the neighbourhood, was allegedly shot in the neck by the victim and died of his injuries. “During the night, a suspect was arrested in another municipality,” explained Martijn Baes, spokesperson for the West police zone.
