Moroccan nationality: soon a right for the children of Moroccan Jews?

MPs introduced a bill into the Moroccan Parliament this week aimed at granting Moroccan nationality to all the children and grandchildren of Moroccan Jews.

In this proposal, the deputies deplore “the suffering of Moroccan Jews” who lost their nationality for reasons beyond their control. A regrettable situation which has been perpetuated from generation to generation.
