Moroccan merchant navy: where is the project?

More than fourteen months after its launch, the study relating to the development of the merchant marine fleet is slow to deliver its results. The government is working to make up for this delay.

This study is part of the guidelines set out by King Mohammed VI in his Green March speech. The Sovereign had insisted on the need to build a strong and competitive national commercial maritime fleet. The Boston Consulting Group consultancy presented a progress update on the study on Thursday, during a meeting held in Rabat, in the presence of the ministers concerned. The latter made observations following the cabinet presentation in order to ensure the success of the study, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
