Moroccan man’s house targeted by attack in Antwerp
While traveling in Morocco, a man living on the first floor of a building located on Sint-Bernardsesteenweg in Hoboken (Antwerp) learned that the residence had been the target of fire. Four Dutch people were arrested and an investigation is underway to elucidate this matter.
A fire broke out on the night of Friday November 29, 2024 to Saturday in a residential building located on Sint-Bernardsesteenweg in Hoboken. A violent detonation, audible as far away as the Antwerp Ring, woke up local residents around 2:45 a.m. last night. “A powerful firework was thrown against the front door of the residential building, which damaged it,” confirms Kim Bastiaens, spokesperson for the Antwerp police. The damage caused by the fire at the bottom of the front door demonstrates the extent of the fire: cracked glass… This damage was covered with cardboard.
