Moroccan man’s house targeted by attack in Antwerp

While traveling in Morocco, a man living on the first floor of a building located on Sint-Bernardsesteenweg in Hoboken (Antwerp) learned that the residence had been the target of fire. Four Dutch people were arrested and an investigation is underway to elucidate this matter.

A fire broke out on the night of Friday November 29, 2024 to Saturday in a residential building located on Sint-Bernardsesteenweg in Hoboken. A violent detonation, audible as far away as the Antwerp Ring, woke up local residents around 2:45 a.m. last night. “A powerful firework was thrown against the front door of the residential building, which damaged it,” confirms Kim Bastiaens, spokesperson for the Antwerp police.
