Moroccan kickboxer Jamal Ben Saddik released from prison

Moroccan kickboxer Jamal Ben Saddik has been released on parole following his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a 29-year-old Antwerp man. The decision was made this week by the Antwerp indictment chamber, according to the public prosecutor’s office.

Arrested in early July, Ben Saddik is suspected of having participated in the kidnapping of an employee of the port of Antwerp who allegedly failed to meet his commitments in a drug trafficking case. The athlete and his alleged accomplices are said to have held the victim captive for a certain period of time.
