Moroccan gardener will not receive billionaire Nicolas Puech’s fortune

Nicolas Puechheir to the famous Hermès house, is at the center of a case that intrigues as much as it disconcerts. The octogenarian, who had announced his intention to bequeath his colossal fortune of 13 billion dollars to his Moroccan gardener, now finds himself at the heart of a complex legal battle.

Indeed, while the story of a billionaire adopting his gardener had caused a sensation, the picture quickly darkened. Puech claimed before a Swiss court that he no longer had these astronomical sums, blaming this loss on the alleged embezzlement of his former wealth manager. An accusation that the Swiss justice system rejected, finding no evidence to support it.
