Moroccan family sues Italian state
A 33-year-old Moroccan man, who lived in Pavia, Italy, died in May 2017 following a traffic accident. In a decision dated August 6, the city court ordered the state to pay compensation of 2 million euros to his family living in Morocco.
The Court of Pavia has ordered the Guarantee Fund for Road Accident Victims to pay 2 million euros to the victim’s wife, children, mother and 17 siblings who live in Morocco. The victim, MH, died on 18 May 2017 in a road accident on provincial road 412, in Landriano.
