Moroccan drug lord arrested in Paris soon to be extradited

An important member of the Mocro Mafia », Saïd A., aged 35, was arrested in Paris last week and will soon be extradited to the Netherlands. Suspected of trafficking methamphetamines, he risks up to 12 years in prison in his country.

His arrest took place without a hitch as he left a restaurant in the 18th arrondissement thanks to the intervention of the GIGN. Investigators suspect him of being involved in the importation of more than 100 kg of methamphetamines, discovered last April in a car near Gilze, in the Netherlands. His DNA was allegedly found on the drug bags, leading to the issuance of a European arrest warrant at the end of August.
