Moroccan dirham falls against the euro
The Moroccan dirham depreciated by 0.4% against the euro and by 1.1% against the US dollar during the period from August 29 to September 4, 2024, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).
During this period, no auction operations were carried out on the foreign exchange market, the Central Bank said in its weekly bulletin. As of August 30, official reserve assets stood at 363.2 billion dirhams (MMDH), up 0.4% from one week to the next and 1.3% year-on-year, the same source noted.
