Moroccan cuisine rewarded

Moroccan cuisine was honored in Marrakech on the occasion of the Official Tournament of Chefs Africa (TOC Africa). Morocco won the 2024 edition of the Bocuse d’Or Africa, a prestigious culinary competition.

Morocco crowned champion of the Bocuse d’Or Africa 2024. This is the fruit of the work accomplished by the Moroccan team, composed of young talents Yassine Bogdad, Youssef Lamghani, Ahmed Ben Semlali and led by chef Moha Fedal during 5H35min of competition. The jury, chaired by Davy Tissot, winner of the Bocuse d’Or World 2023, praised the finesse and mastery of the culinary techniques of the Moroccan chefs, who won this title for the second time after 2018. Mauritius took second place, while Egypt ranked third. Ghana won the prize for “Best Team Spirit”. Senegal won the prize for “Special Menu”. It owes this prize to its thoughtful and diverse selection of dishes.
