Moroccan Athletes’ Poor Performance at Paris Olympics Reaches Parliament

THE Poor performance of Moroccan athletes at the Paris Olympics continues to cause a stir. MP Abdellatif Zaim of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has just questioned the Minister of Sports on this subject.

In a question addressed to Chakib Benmoussa, Zaim called for the opening of a thorough investigation to determine responsibilities after the disappointing participation of Moroccan athletes in the Paris Olympic Games. The parliamentarian also called for the implementation of a reform in the sports sector in order to hope for better results from Moroccan athletes during their next participations in international competitions.
