Moroccan athletes at the Olympics: football success poorly hides failures

Moroccans have expressed their disappointment over the participation of Moroccan athletes in the Paris Olympic Games, who performed poorly and failed to defend the national colours in this international competition.

Morocco did not shine at the Paris Olympics. In almost all disciplines, except athletics and football, Moroccan athletes did not perform, angering Moroccans. The exceptional performance of the Olympic football team, which reached the semi-final for the first time in its history and then won bronze, brought smiles back to Moroccans.
