Montauban Mosque: 400,000 euros missing to complete the project
Suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, construction work on the new Montauban mosque (Tarn-et-Garonne) resumed several weeks ago. The project is making significant progress, but the Es Salem association is looking for donations to finance the construction of a parking lot.
400,000 euros. This is the funding that the Es Salem association needs for the construction of a 245-space car park at the new Montauban mosque. “Everything is financed by donations from the faithful, there is not a cent that comes from abroad,” certifies Mohamed Hadji, president of the Es-Salem Muslim association to The Dispatch. We have managed to finance the construction and development of the mosque, all the companies have been paid, but we do not yet have the money for the parking lot. To ensure water drainage, lighting and tar 8,000 m2, it takes 400,000 euros. »
