Mohamed Salah “is a shame for the Muslim world”

As since 2019, Liverpool’s Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah is once again criticized by some Muslim internet users for celebrating Christmas, a Christian holiday.

On his Instagram account, he posted the usual “Merry Christmas” photo with his wife, Magi, and their two daughters. Enough to provoke the annoyance of certain Muslims. The latter accuse him of celebrating a Christian holiday when he himself is Muslim. For them, the Egyptian attacker is “a shame for the Muslim world”.
