Mobilization in France to help a Moroccan child

In France, a surge of solidarity is forming to help little Yaniss, a young Moroccan suffering from a rare disease. Bouzien and Marie-Christine, two residents of Toulouse originally from Tarn-et-Garonne, have launched a fundraiser in this direction.

Little Yaniss suffers from a spinal malformation, Spina Bifida. A condition that does not allow him to move correctly, reports The Dispatch. He was a year and a half old, his Moroccan parents, Djamel and Khadija, met Bouzien and Marie-Christine, two residents of Toulouse originally from Tarn-et-Garonne, who were traveling in Morocco. They told them about their son’s illness. “They spoke to us about it with great modesty. They confessed their difficulties in providing good care for Yaniss. So when we returned to France, we said to ourselves that we could not stay without doing anything,” explains the native of Caussad, now based in the Toulouse region.
