Melvyn Jaminet: “I’m an Arab, where are you?”

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) has sanctioned Melvyn Jaminet, a full-back for the French XV, who made racist remarks in a video shared by mistake on his social networks.

“My mother asking me if I partied? I swear to you, the first Arab I meet on the road, I’ll hit him with my head. I’m telling you, I’ll hit him with my head,” Jaminet hammered home in the video posted after the French XV’s victory in Argentina (13-28). In response to this publication, Cédric Doumbè, seven-time kick-boxing world champion and MMA fighter (6 wins in 7 fights), challenged the Toulon player in a video published on X. “I’m an Arab, where are you?” he said.
