Mehdi Ghezzar under complaint

Shocked by the racist remarks targeting Moroccans and King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan Lawyers Club filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor of the Paris Judicial Court against the Algerian Mehdi Ghezzar, now a former columnist for the show “Les Grandes Gueules”.

The Moroccan Lawyers Club (CAM) castigates Mehdi Ghezzar’s infamous remarks on the kingdom, King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people. During his appearance on the program “Hebdo Show” on the Algerian channel AL24 on August 25, 2024, the now ex-columnist of the program “Les Grandes Gueules” violently attacked Morocco, calling it a “rogue state” and an El Dorado for traffickers. He also claimed that Morocco prohibited its citizens from showing solidarity with Gaza because of a royal decree initiated by none other than Moroccan royal advisor André Azoulay.
