Match against Morocco: Argentina files complaint

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) decided on Wednesday, after the Morocco-Argentina match which ended in victory for the Atlas Lions (2-1), to file a complaint with FIFA against the decision of Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg to restart the match after a two-hour stoppage following the invasion of the pitch by supporters.

“A formal complaint has been filed with the FIFA disciplinary committee so that it can take the necessary measures in the face of such serious facts,” the AFA said in a statement.
