Marrakech under close surveillance

The wali of Marrakech security, announced the upcoming installation of surveillance cameras in the streets of the ocher city in order to strengthen security, with a view to the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup .

A study was conducted to assess the number of cameras necessary to strengthen security in the city of Marrakech during the sporting events that Morocco is preparing to welcome, in particular the CAN 2025 and the World 2030. These cameras will be located at the level of the main axes, streets, districts and areas under the territorial jurisdiction of the Marrakech police prefecture, said the manager in an interview with Assabah.
