Marrakech – Tours: ordeal of Ryanair flight passengers

Ryanair flight FR5514 on December 24, connecting Marrakech to Tours, suffered a significant delay. Initially scheduled to land at 9:45 a.m., the aircraft was diverted to Beauvais. The passengers finally arrived in Tours by coach at 8:30 p.m.

This setback disrupted the plans of many travelers, as this father from Orléans testifies: “For New Year’s Eve, it’s done.” Gilles, another passenger, recounts his early morning departure from Marrakech: “I got up at 3 a.m. then left the hotel at 4 a.m.” He had to get to the airport two hours before takeoff, says the New Tribune.
