Marrakech rebuilds its hotels and medina

An emergency program for the reconstruction of Marrakech hotels damaged by the Al Haouz earthquake was at the heart of a meeting of the Regional Steering Committee chaired by Farid Chourak, Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region. The medina development project was also discussed.

Discussions focused on the development and improvement of tourist infrastructure, in particular the modernization of hotels in the medina. Objective: to reconcile modern standards of sustainable development and the preservation of cultural heritage. This initiative aims to improve the quality of tourist services and strengthen the attractiveness of the city.
