Marrakech: cold snap on the real estate market
THE real estate market in the city of Marrakech shows signs of slowing down. In the third quarter of 2024, prices fell by 0.5% overall, a decline which hides disparities depending on the type of property.
While land and commercial premises saw their prices increase slightly, residential properties, such as apartments, houses and villas, suffered a drop of 1.2%, according to joint data from Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) and the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Cartography (ANCFCC).
