Marrakech: an MRE resold stolen motorcycles in France!

Moroccan authorities have dealt a major blow to a network trafficking stolen motorcycles and bicycles. A Frenchman of Moroccan origin, aged 33, was arrested this Monday in Marrakech. He is suspected of being the mastermind of a criminal organization specializing in the theft of high-end motorcycles in Europe, then reselling them in Morocco.

According to initial investigations, the suspect and his accomplices attacked depots and automobile dealerships to steal two-wheelers with a unit value of up to several tens of thousands of euros. Once in their possession, these motorcycles and bicycles were hidden before being transported to Morocco, where they were sold on online sales platforms.
