Marrakech Airport: water leaks worrying

The leaks observed at the roof of Marrakech-Menara airport following the heavy rains which fell on Marrakech at the end of last week, concern a member of parliament who called on the government on this subject.

“The stormy rains that hit Marrakech on the evening of Sunday October 13 revealed the fragility of the roof of Marrakech-Menara airport, where water flooded the ground in certain parts of the airport due to significant infiltration through the roof during the precipitation, which surprised the travelers, the majority of whom were foreign tourists,” said El Mehdi Fatimi, deputy of the socialist group, in a written question addressed to the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil.
