Lille: Amine Z., under OQTF since 2022, risks prison again

During a check on October 4 in the Wazemmes district of Lille, police officers discovered that Amine Z. was subject to an Obligation to Leave French Territory (OQTF) dating from 2022. The young man did not was not deported to Morocco, because the kingdom’s authorities did not authorize his return. He risks returning to prison.

The Moroccan was sentenced for not having respected this decision, and also for drug consumption. After two months in prison, he was transferred to an administrative detention center (CRA) from which he was released three months later, after Morocco did not authorize his return.
