Legal troubles for Faudel in Morocco

Accused by his Franco-Algerian ex-wife of refusing to pay him alimony, the Algerian artist naturalized Moroccan Faudel will soon have to appear before the court of first instance of Marrakech.

French justice has already ordered Faudel to pay arrears of alimony to his ex-wife. To make this decision enforceable in Morocco, the latter, through her lawyer, initiated proceedings before the court of first instance of Marrakech, the city where the singer resides with his children and his new partner.
