Legal production of cannabis: Morocco wants to crack down

The National Agency for the Regulation of Cannabis Activities (ANRAC) is preparing to carry out a vast operation to withdraw licenses from agricultural cooperatives and investors who are not in compliance.

ANRAC sent formal notices to nearly 200 cooperatives and investors holding licenses linked to the marketing, processing, import and export of seeds and plants, and transport, inviting them to regularize their situation. within 30 days. After this period, their licenses will be purely and simply withdrawn, in accordance with article 30 of law n°13-20 relating to the legal uses of cannabis.
