LED lighting: Morocco declares war on Chinese imports

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the imminent opening of an anti-dumping investigation into imports of LED lighting fixtures from China.

In a notice published on August 28, the ministry indicated that this anti-dumping investigation on these products will be opened as early as September 2. It follows the examination of a request from the Moroccan company Lux Lighting, which produces 82% of LED luminaires for public lighting in Morocco, in which it requests the application of anti-dumping measures on these products from China.
