Latifa Raâfat in court?

Latifa Raafat is expected to testify before the Casablanca Court of Appeal in the trial of ex-parliamentarian and former president of the WAC Said Naciri and ex-parliamentarian Abdenbi Bioui, in the case of Lhaj Ahmed Benbrahim alias “Escobar of the Desert », named after the ex-husband of the Moroccan singer.

Hearings resumed Friday at the Casablanca Court of Appeal. Said Naciri’s lawyer requested the appearance of Latifa Raâfat in court as a witness. Her ex-husband, the Malian Lhaj Ahmed Benbrahim alias “Escobar of the Desert” is also called to give his testimony in court. While he remains under arrest, his status has changed. He went from accused to witness and civil party to the great astonishment of the defense.
