Last Moroccans escape hell of Myanmar labor camps

Eleven Moroccan nationals, victims of a large employment scam networkhave finally regained their freedom after months of captivity in camps along the Thai-Myanmar border.

Lured by huge promises of salaries and jobs in online commerce, these Moroccans, like thousands of other foreigners, fell into a trap. Instead of the promised modern offices, they were forced to work in inhumane conditions, exploited for online scams and extortion activities.
