Large-scale arrest operation in Marrakech, MREs targeted?

The Marrakech police prefecture conducted extensive security operations last weekend aimed at combating dangerous driving on the road and traffic violations. In total, 93 people were arrested and 23 vehicles seized. Moroccans living abroad were reportedly particularly targeted.

These operations, carried out on the night of 24 to 25 August, aim to guarantee the safety of people and property and to suppress traffic violations. They led to the arrest of 93 people, accused of disturbing public order and wanted for various crimes and offences, as well as the seizure of 23 vehicles for reckless driving.
