Lalla Latifa: Royal Palace Denounces Use of Fake Photos
The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery warns against the use of false photos of Princess Lalla Latifa, widow of the late Hassan II and mother of King Mohammed VI, who died on Saturday at the age of 78.
“Following the announcement of the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, may God have mercy on her, it has been noted that there has been an unfortunate use on social networks of inauthentic and false photographs attributed to the late Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa,” the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery said in a statement. It calls on “all citizens to respect the relevant laws and the mourning of the Illustrious Royal Family.”
