La Roja’s slip-up towards Morocco: investigation opened

European football’s governing body UEFA has announced an investigation into racist chants against Morocco and Gibraltar by Spanish players as they celebrated their Euro 2019 title in the streets of Madrid.

UEFA has decided to open an investigation into the matter following a complaint from the Gibraltar FA, a country which was also targeted by the Spanish players during the celebration of their Euro victory in Cibeles Square in Madrid on Monday 15 July.
