The Atlas Lions largely dominated their match against Ukraine, which ended in a resounding 9-2 victory at the KL Arena. Nadir Louah opened the scoring in the first minute, then added two more goals in the 20th minute and the first minute of added time, before scoring a crucial brace in the 39th minute.
