King Hassan II’s advice to Latifa Raafat

Latifa Raafat, in an interview with Al3omqconfided that the late Hassan II advised her to stick to Moroccan songs when she tried to perform oriental songs. According to her, the late king also asked her to take up the old works that he liked to listen to. The singer assures that she tried to follow the advice of the late Hassan II since the beginning of her artistic career, choosing to lead it in Morocco unlike some colleagues who settle abroad. Unlike some singers, she assures that she has not suffered from the issue of preference given to foreign artists during artistic meetings, whether on a material or moral level.
