Jonathan Harroch, CEO of City Club, arrested in Casablanca: serious charges

Arrested on Saturday in a large hotel in Casablanca, in execution of a national arrest warrant, Jonathan Harroch, CEO of City Club, could be prosecuted for “issuing bad checks”, “trafficking in human beings” and “trafficking of drugs”.

Jonathan Harroch was arrested by the Casablanca police in the company of two young women, with 2.5 grams of cocaine on him. In May, “Tata Hala”, a Moroccan influencer residing in France made damning revelations about the businessman and called for a boycott of the City Club on social networks through the hashtag #BoycottCityClub. She denounced the alleged fraudulent and abusive practices that are said to be commonplace in Harroch’s empire.
