Jawaz cards: the hunt for abuse by civil servants is launched
The General Inspectorate of Territorial Administration (IGAT) wants to put an end to the abusive use of the “Jawaz” prepaid system by civil servants, particularly outside their hours of service and for personal purposes. In this sense, it launched an in-depth investigation with the Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM).
Identify possible misuses of the “Jawaz” system by civil servants, particularly outside their duty hours and for personal purposes, especially during vacations. This is the objective of the investigation launched by the General Inspectorate of Territorial Administration (IGAT). It was noted that some agents have removed this device from their service vehicles and installed it on their personal vehicles, which allows them to finance their journeys between different cities, reports Morocco Diplomatic. A maneuver which penalizes the State, because this system is included in the operational costs of service vehicles, alongside fuel and other costs.
