Iranian drones by the Polisario: Morocco alerts Europe

During his speech at the political assembly of the European People’s Party, held on November 21 and 22 in Valletta (Malta), Lahcen Haddad, representative of the Istiqlal Party, warned of the growing security threats in the region of the Maghreb, in particular the use of Iranian drones and missiles by the Polisario.

Member of the Moroccan delegation at these meetings, Lahcen Haddad called on the European Union and the European People’s Party to adopt a firm position on this issue to guarantee stability in North Africa and the Mediterranean basin. He also highlighted Morocco’s leadership in the field of renewable energies, emphasizing the need to develop strategic partnerships with multinationals like Total Energies to produce green hydrogen.
