Iran seeks to renew relations with Morocco

L’Iran is working to restore its relations with Morocco, recently declared Ismaïl Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Iran has always been in favor of mediation by Oman and Saudi Arabia with a view to normalizing its relations with Morocco, Baghaei said during a press conference, recalling that his country has never decided to break off relations with Morocco. The new Iranian government is working to strengthen ties with its neighbors and other countries, based on the principles of wisdom and mutual benefit, the spokesperson added.
