Investigation after the violent death of a Moroccan in Amsterdam
A 33-year-old Moroccan with a long criminal record was shot dead near garages in Nieuw-West (Amsterdam). One suspect was arrested in Hoofddorp, another killed and two others injured.
Macabre discovery in Amsterdam-Osdorp. A neighbor discovered the bullet-riddled body of Younes Arsalane on December 30 around 11 a.m. in a cellar corridor of a building located on Clauskindereweg. He was allegedly killed by a group of individuals. Police managed to arrest a 20-year-old man on Friday evening in Hoofddorp. On Saturday, an intervention team raided the Kralingen district of Rotterdam in an attempt to arrest two more suspects, aged 30 and 29, in a house. The task was not easy: a police officer was targeted. He was hit, but his bulletproof vest saved him. The intervention team responded with gunfire. The exchange of fire was fatal to a 30-year-old suspect and injured another 29-year-old. One of the two women (aged 27 and 52) who sheltered the suspects was also injured, reports AD.nl.
