Income tax in Morocco: real reductions in 2025?

The 2025 Finance Bill (PLF) plans to revise the income tax scale downwards. A measure that should not have a significant impact on salaries, according to economists.

Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate for the Budget, recently confirmed, during a session at the House of Advisors, this revision of income tax (IR), stressing that the measure aims to ease the tax burden on employees subject to withholding tax. But this downward revision of income tax in 2025 should not lead to major changes in salaries.
