Fouzi Lekjaa, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, presented Tuesday to the Chamber of Advisors the main measures and amendments made to the 2025 finance bill.


These measures concern in particular the reform of the income tax (IR) and the value added tax (VAT), as well as customs duties and the internal tax on consumption, revealed Lekjaa during his presentation before the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development. Regarding the IR reform, the minister recalled the upward revision of the first tranche of the progressive scale of tax rates from 30,000 dirhams to 40,000 dirhams, which will allow an exemption for lower monthly income. at 6,000 dirhams.
