In Tarn-et-Garonne, Moroccans exploited

The Montauban judicial court will examine on January 20 and 21 the case of a network which exploited undocumented migrants including Moroccans on agricultural farms in Tarn-et-Garonne, Brittany, Burgundy and Center Val-de- Loire.

The network was dismantled after months of careful investigation. Its members are accused of exploitation of migrants, fraud and money laundering. “The workers were housed in unsanitary housing, often under the direct control of the network organizers, and found themselves in a situation of total dependence,” indicates the referral order from investigating judge Elsa Servant, to whom The Dispatch had access.
