In Spain, the war against Moroccan agricultural products
A major Spanish farmers’ union, close to Vox, is pressuring the Spanish government to toughen measures against Moroccan agricultural products.
Spanish farmers are still targeting Moroccan products. They are putting strong pressure on Pedro Sánchez to have his government step up controls on imported food, especially those from “North Africa”. “Farmers’ representatives should be allowed to attend the sampling and the communication of the results of the product analyses,” demands Luis Cortés, coordinator of Unión de Uniones, one of the main farmers’ unions. According to him, farmers do not trust the “procedures implemented by the government and are asking to be able to control them,” reports OK Journal.
