In Rabat, real estate is faltering

The city of Rabat is going through a period of decline in the real estate sector. A slight decrease in prices, estimated at -0.6%, hiding disparities depending on the type of property, was noted in the 3rd quarter of this year. While land showed unexpected resistance with a modest increase of 0.8%, other segments showed more marked erosion.

Residential properties, consisting mainly of apartments and houses, recorded a price decline of 0.8%. This trend, although measured, contrasts with that of goods for professional use, where prices collapsed by 7.5%.
