In Nador, a “flourishing market” becomes a den of drug addicts and homeless people
Inaugurated with great fanfare in 2014, the municipal market of the “Commercial Complex” of Nador was expected to boost the local economy. Twelve years later, the second phase of this project, which swallowed up more than 50 million dirhams of investment, has become an unsanitary squat.
Trash, drug addicts and homeless people occupy the premises, transforming what should have been a commercial flagship into a real nightmare for residents and traders.
