In Morocco, regions without Internet

The weakness of the Internet network and speed in rural and mountainous areas and in the province of Khenifra in particular concerns MP Saadia Amahzoune, from the National Rally of Independents (RNI) group in the House of Representatives, who sent a written question to the government on this subject.

In her question addressed to the Minister Delegate in charge of the Digital Transition and Administration Reform on January 6, 2025, the MP noted that the weakness of the Internet network prevents residents of the province of Khénifra from benefiting from digital services essential, adding that this situation is detrimental to certain vital sectors such as distance education, e-commerce and administrative services.
