In Morocco, hotels will no longer be able to refuse single women
The draft penal code provides for sanctions against hotels that refuse access to women residing in the same city, warned Abdellatif Ouahbi, the Minister of Justice.
These facts will constitute a misdemeanor or crime, which will allow women to file complaints against the hotels, Ouahbi said in a statement to the press, specifying that it is not possible to grant licenses, facilities and security to an establishment that is not able to provide services to all citizens.
