In Casablanca, officials sacked

After the agents of authority, it is the turn of the moqaddems and chioukhs operating in the Casablanca-Settat region to be relieved of their posts by the services of the Ministry of the Interior.

Moqaddems and sheikhs risk their positions. Local authorities in the Casablanca metropolitan area are preparing a vast sanitation campaign, reports Assaba. This decision is justified by the desire of the Ministry of the Interior to put an end to the total anarchy in terms of urban planning which reigns in the surroundings of Casablanca, including the areas bordering on the metropolis before the sporting events of 2025 and 2030.
